  • Eligibility Requirements:

    • Canadian students must apply for all available student loans and obtain a minimum $8,500 award.
    • US students must submit the FAFSA and receive the maximum amount of the Direct Loan program - subsidized loan.
    • Applicants must complete a minimum of 9 academic credits per term.
    • The student or parent ( if student has dependent status) must be a member of an SDA church. Non-SDA church members may apply if their church is able to contribute.  The church portion would be matched by the school only up to $500.
    • The student must not be receiving SDA Education Subsidy.
  • Application Process:

    1.  Submit the application

    2.  Submit your Loan Notice of Assessment or Funding Summary to confirm financial need.

    3. If approved, your church will be contacted regarding your eligibility and a request to contribute.

    4.  Application submission and proof of financial need does not guarantee financial help from either the matching funds or student aid programs due to limited funding availability.

  • The home church may donate on behalf of the student. The conferences will match church contributions according to their specific guidelines.  Burman University will match the conference contribution.

    Possible Conference Funding Availability:
